I think sometimes when we have a strong reaction to the idea of women being treated fairly in stories, we have a tendency to go too far in the other direction. There was a while there when all strong television heroines acted like men, which was a weird alternate reaction to feminism. I don’t know. I don’t want to have to give up every aspect of my femininity in order to be considered strong.
